These authors I’ve chosen because I’ve either followed their work for awhile or am passionate about the mystical plot!

1. Hour of the Pumpkin Queen by Megan Shepherd
Publication: July 8th, 2025

2. Arcana Academy by Elise Kova

When I first heard about this plot I knew that it was one of my anticipated reads! It feels like it will be mystique and dark academia vibes which I totally look for in a book!
3. The Bewitching by Silvia Moreno Garcia
Publication: July 15, 2025
“Three women in three different eras encounter danger and witchcraft in this eerie multigenerational horror saga from the New York Times bestselling author of Mexican Gothic.”
I believe this will become a series. The moment moment you say witches and three, it reminds me of Charmed and the Power of Three! Sign me up! Garcia has been publishing so many beautiful stories and I’m excited to add this to the collection.
4. The NightBlood Prince by Molly X. Chang
Publication: July 1st, 2025
The NightBlood Prince is a novel about a war that only an empress can stop and unite two kingdoms. But will there be a love triangle of sorts when she’s caught in the middle of falling for two princes? Will the love be enough to cease the war?
The artwork of this cover is stunning and I’m looking forward to reading this story. The first edition will have deep dark purple sprayed edges. The folklore in this book seems captivated and this releases the first of the month in July!
5. The Last Tiger by Julia and Brad Riew
Publication: July 29th, 2025
Any book by an author that’s passionate about their culture and infusing it with magic has my attention. Inspired by their grandparents’ love story in a dark period of Korean History comes this Korean Fantasy by Julia and Brad Riew! Publishers are catching onto the desire for aesthetic books. This cover is stunning. Its first release is a special edition for sure! This was one of my immediate pre-orders!

The marketing for all of these books is captivating. Together, they make me feel like July will be one of our best publication months yet!
